We are dedicated to sustainable travel practices, which is why we prioritize the use of electric vans for transportation during our tours. By minimizing our carbon footprint, we ensure a more eco-friendly experience while exploring the diverse landscapes of the Basque Country.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to experience our comfortable and eco-conscious accommodation in a beautiful traditional Basque farmhouse. The farmhouse is strategically located, allowing for easy access to all the must-visit destinations in the Basque Country, with drive times of less than 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will have single accommodation at the farmhouse.
For the days when we venture further afield, we have carefully selected a range of hotels that align with our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. These accommodations are family-owned properties, avoiding big chain hotels, to ensure a more intimate and authentic experience. By staying in these establishments, you can rest assured that your visit supports local communities and their sustainable practices.

Itinerary
- The first stage spans five days and four nights, allowing you to explore some of the most interesting and lesser-known rural areas and the western part of the Basque Country.
- The second stage, lasting six days and five nights, covers the eastern part of the Basque Country, including the French Basque Coast and north Navarra.
You have the flexibility to choose one or both itineraries, creating an amazing 10-day, 9-night complete experience.

Inaki tailored a coastal and riverine walk for me when I visited Bilbao and was delighted with our walking tour. As a historian, I am keenly interested in local industrial and natural heritage. Ulle Gorri Travel is quite unique. We wanted to learn about the Basque Country, with an emphasis on nature and wildlife. Ana and Iñaki designed us a week that we haven’t stopped talking about since we got home! . Iñaki is an excellent guide, making his guests feel comfortable and clearly explaining the sights and thoughts. A visit that will not be forgotten.
We ended up doing a tour of the countryside villages and unforgettable San Juan de Gaztelugatxe- a must see! Iñaki took us on the tour and it was the best way to end our trip and feel that we really got to see the beauty of the Basque Country that only a true local could share. Iñaki and Ana are both such kind, well traveled, and interesting people – so thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with them.
