For nine years, we’ve been guiding small groups of no more than six through the Basque Country‘s hidden valleys, quiet coastlines, and family-run kitchens, at a pace that lets the place — and the people who call it home — actually reach you.

We travel in electric vans, stay away from the overtouristed spots, and work only with local guides and producers we’ve come to know as friends. Keeping our groups small lets us treat our local collaborators as friends rather than clients — and welcome you the same way.

Whether you’re coming with a partner, a friend, or entirely on your own, you’ll travel with the same six people the whole way through — never lost in a crowd, never rushed past what matters.

We were treated with utmost hospitality by a well informed couple who truly love... read more the Basque Country and relish sharing it with visitors. Ulle Gorri is beautifully situated in rural Basque country.  but near enough  to cities such as Victoria, interesting  villages, and even a national park--all of which allow   guests to enjoy a wide variety of experiences with out excessive driving time.  We were busy but  content with the pace of our visit.  The  accommodations were delightful,  comfortable, and spacious. Perfect for our foursome though they could have accommodated even more guests. Inyaki and Ana worked with us as we planned our visit, accommodated our schedule ,  then went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. They shared delicious reginal meals  from their kitchen and made us feel like we were visiting friends intent on making certain we understood the culture, history and beauty of their region.  Hope to return some day!

We really enjoyed our time with Ana and Inaki, and saw so many amazing things we’d never have gotten to see without them.
